The Alarm performs its own diagnostic checks
With the auto-test feature, your Smart Smoke Alarm checks the status of its battery, sensor, and Wi-Fi connection, warning you in case of any issues. If you need to know any information about these issues, it will send you a smartphone notification.
Disable the alarm easily from your smartphone.
Has burnt toast set off a false alarm? Deactivate the alarm with one tap in the app or directly on your Alarm. You must be within Bluetooth range of the Alarm to deactivate it through the app, so you can make sure it's a false alarm.

How is the Smart Smoke Alarm connected to the internet?
Wi-Fi router. Hotspots are not supported.
Can I interconnect several Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarms?
No, you cannot interconnect multiple smart smoke alarms, even if they all appear on the same app.
How many Smart Smoke Alarms can I add to a Netatmo account or install in a home?
There are no installation limits on your account.
However, to ensure the best experience when using the Home + Security app, we recommend you install a maximum of 10 Netatmo Smart Smoke Alarms on your customer account.*
*This limit may be lower depending on the other Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) products on your account.
What happens if there’s no internet connection?
Your Smart Smoke Alarm will work like a conventional smoke detector and will sound when smoke is detected in any case. However, if there is no internet connection, it will not be able to send a notification to your smartphone.
